Instructions for Marking Your Sprinkling System

It's important that you prepare your lawn for an aeration by properly marking your sprinkling system before Weed Pro begins service.

The week before your service, you'll receive notification that we will be by to perform the service. When marking your system, be sure to mark any part of your sprinklers that are less than 3" deep. Instructions for Marking Your Invisible Dog Fence

Often, people fail to remember to mark their invisible dog fence system before having an aeration performed. Invisible dog wire is shallow, often two inches or less below the surface.

To mark your invisible dog fence, follow these steps:

  • Locate the beginning of the perimeter that is connected to the control box;
  • Turn on the system and hold the training collar in one hand WITHOUT TOUCHING THE ELECTRODES and swing your arm back-and-forth, listening for the buzz the collar puts off;
  • Every 5 feet, make a mark with turf paint indicating wire; and finally
  • Connect the marks made, making lines that indicate the path of the wire.
